Hannah Misenar is a computer scientist and mindfulness researcher. Her work explores immersion, flow states, and mind-environment connection.
Hannah’s career has been exclusively focused on emerging technologies at organizations such as HTC, NASA, Microsoft, Leap Motion, Madrona Venture Labs, and many startups. Most of her work has centered around VR and AR. She has also done many projects with AI, IoT, and teleoperated robots.
Hannah has traveled extensively to practice with masters of ancient mindfulness traditions. She is mentored in Himalayan Yoga Meditation and Katakamuna/Noh. She has master certifications in Feng Shui and Ba Zi. She is a certified Forest Therapy Guide, studied at the Jung Institute in Zurich, did Ayahuasca with the Shipibo, and has explored a long list of other practices.
Hannah is a fellow at the Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination and operates Wanderlab—an emerging technology research lab and consultancy.
